BFX Hospitality Group, Inc. Announces Remodeling Construction
for Cabo Grande

FORT WORTH, Texas—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Sept. 15, 2000

Robert H. McLean, Chief Executive Officer of BFX Hospitality Group, Inc. (AMEX:BFX), announced today that the Company has reached agreement with Scott Dennett Construction, Inc. to serve as the general contractor for the Company’s remodeling project at its Cabo restaurant facility in Sundance Square, Fort Worth, Texas. Work is scheduled to begin within the next two weeks.

Mr. McLean stated, “As we previously announced, we recently sold the Cabo concept and the two Cabo units located in Houston. We retained the Cabo unit in Sundance Square. We are in the process of changing the name of this unit to Cabo Grande. In response to customer demand, we are also putting in a new menu that adds more traditional Mexican food while keeping customer favorites. We also recently started complimentary valet parking.”

Mr. McLean continued, “When the remodeling is completed on Cabo Grande, we will have an additional 1,700 square feet of space and provide restaurant table seating for 120, outdoor patio seating for 24, bar seating for 24 and seating for 30 guests in our Caribbean El Rincon room.”
